DESCRIPTION: Patek, Philippe & Co., Geneva, for Gondolo & Labouriau, Rio De Janeiro, "Chronometro Gondolo", 20 jewels, stem wind and set gilt bar movement with counterpoised lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, gold timing screws, wolf's tooth winding and Wilmot micrometric regulator in an 18 karat, rose gold, hinged back and bezel, engine turned open face case with maker's details engraved on gold cuvette, and Roman numeral, outer black 5-minute markers, single sunk white enamel dial, marked "R. F. Rocha Frota Engenheiro Civil", gold spade and whip hands, serial #120607, 55mm, 130.3g TW, c1905.
CONDITION: CASE: Minor marks and fine scratches on outer surface of case; Fine scratches on inner surface of case; Engine turning with minor wear; Minor scratches and a few surface flakes on crystal; Bow and crown with minor wear; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: A few minor scratches, otherwise very good. HANDS: Good. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratch on crown wheel bridge; Fine scratches on escape wheel endstone setting; Regulator assembly with a few specks of oxide. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks) .
